I tell people all the time – You have to start talking to yourself… When I was at Pitt, we this expression called ‘talk to the devil’ … when we would be running these sprints and we’d be dying… that voice inside your head says ‘You don’t really need these sprints to win a championship… you can not answer the next call and just stay on the sidelines…
your stomach’s hurting, your bleeding… and you’d here somebody say ‘ahhh… somebody’s talking to the devil here’ I had a coach at Bama that would say ‘Most people give up what they want most for what they want at that moment.’

Stephen Bassett Has Answers
Listen to Stephen Bassett. What he has to say will become useful to you when you realize that everything you’re hearing on the news, everything you’re distracted by right now… that the whole of it will not matter when the day comes that you’ll HUNGER to know what this guy is talking about. He’s for real. Pay attention. http://www.lifegivingshow.com
Hollywood Studio Asks YOU to Host the Syndicated Show, but you have to lose >25% of your body weight (it’s fat) and have visible abs. Are you in? I was, and I Did It!
Ray Cronise asked it like this:
“…Three baskets of fruit, one fruit plate, and water. The vast majority have dairy, fat and excess sugar.
Hmmm. Now why are we obese and chronically ill?”
My answer:
Ray, the reason is simple. It is the choice to never open ones eyes… to choose to learn from great minds like Wyatt Woodsmall. When I point out the issues with the kind of food you’ve pointed out food, people react emotionally because they’re completely oblivious to the fact that these are destructive to the human body because they’ve been programmed with ‘food groups’ without learning why these foods cause obesity. It’s sad that people think that obesity and diabetes type II are somehow defective genetics or from some unlucky place. I was there. Obesity and diabetes type II are a CHOICE. When I realized that to reach my dream of this show, I needed to have VISIBLE abs. Sounds so vain? I don’t care, I’m healthier and stronger than ever before in my life. It’s not too late to learn the truths that make all the difference. Tell me, do the magazine covers have TV Show hosts on the cover that are obese? Um, not usually. When I mention Kelly Ripa (mother of three) as an example, I laugh at the reactions. She works to be in amazing physical fitness and functional health, and she hosts a show that’s syndicated everywhere. The studio told me what wonders would come, so I CHOSE to learn from they that did as I’ve now done. I lost more than 80 lbs, built those visible abs, and I’ve kept the excess fat off of my body. Tony Schwartz taught me about creating habits like top athletes (that are each a BRAND) he’s worked with have done. Marie Forleo has inspired me with her determination and belief in the vision of her dreams (which now have a side effect known as $$$ millions per year that she invests, along with her new friend Sir Richard Branson, helping others around the world). I’m not stopping either. The “A-List” appears to party… The truth: I’m not alone in being a teetotaler. “But Sam Botta, eating the way you do is expensive!” Um, no… it isn’t. I’m not spending on ‘having a good time’ alcohol, and I don’t have the need to go out to eat at expensive restaurants. Like Stewart Shining and Chris Fanning, I’ve chosen happiness in life, and no, I don’t judge anyone for their habits. The no alcohol lifestyle isn’t for religious reasons, it’s simply this: The happiest, most successful (in doing their life’s passion and purpose) people I know are teetotalers. That’s incentive. I said, “I want my body to look like that.” So I found the ones that did it. As it turns out, Equinox has trainers that keep showing up in magazines because of their own transformations. Liz Miersch writes about them, including Michol Dalcourt(invented ViPR, which Lucas Varella has taught me) and Lisa Wheeler. I probably spend less on food and nutrition than you do, I just spend it on natural stuff instead of alcohol and other toxic ‘pleasures’ to escape from ‘the week’ at work. If you chose work that you need to escape from, it’s time to open your eyes and outsource whatever is keeping you so busy. Free some time. Makes no sense? People hire Accountants because of the expertise they offer. Accounting is boring to me, but CPA’s seem to like it. That’s outsourcing, you’re already doing it, so outsource other stuff. Can’t afford it? Um, I outsource what I call “finding deals on everything I buy” — paying someone pays for itself, it creates money (a tool that can fund clean drinking water for the whole world, and stuff like that). I’d rather be in the studio than dealing with bookkeeping, sifting through emails and so on. Then, see, there’s time for taking breaks for surfing… and spending time with loved ones and my puppies. Create time freedom, get someBrain Toniq, then you’ll find focus on your real purpose. You’re worth it, and you have power beyond imagination. This is your day to shine. Do it. ~Sam Botta
