Sam Botta & Gloria Allred ‘The Most Prominent Womens Rights Attorney in the United States’ Representing Tiger Woods Alleged Mistress Rachel Uchitel

December 4, 2009 by LiveFearless 1 Comment

Sam Botta & Gloria Allred
According to the Harper Collins website: Gloria Allred is the most prominent women’s rights attorney in the United States and is one of the highest-profile attorneys in the world. She has been a television commentator on Fox News Channel, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, and Court TV, and is a three-time Emmy nominee for her television commentary on KABC Television Eyewitness News in Los Angeles. She was rated one of the most important radio talk show hosts in America by USA Today, and has won the President’s Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers and the 1986 President’s Volunteer Action Award for her work in child support enforcement, presented to her by President Ronald Reagan at the White House. A founding partner in the “Voted by her peers as one of the best lawyers in America, and described by Time magazine as “one of the nation’s most effective advocates of family rights and feminist causes,” Allred has devoted her career to fighting for civil rights and has won hundreds of millions of dollars for victims of abuse. She has taken on countless institutions to promote equality, including the Boy Scouts, the Friars Club, and the United States Senate. And as the attorney for numerous high-profile clients—including Nicole Brown Simpson’s family, actress Hunter Tylo, and Amber Frey, Scott Peterson’s girlfriend—Allred has helped victims assert and protect their rights. Throughout her memoir, Allred offers colorful—sometimes shocking—examples of self-empowerment from her personal and professional life. Presenting nearly fifty of her most memorable cases, Allred takes us deep inside the justice system to show how it’s possible to win even in the face of staggering odds. Her inspiring true stories serve to remind us that winning justice depends on the righ-teousness of the cause and an individual’s willingness to stand up, speak out, and fight back. Fight Back and Win is a powerful testament to Gloria Allred’s trailblazing career and the battles she has fought alongside countless brave individuals to win justice for us all.”

Every Moment Precious

November 12, 2009 by LiveFearless Leave a Comment

One of the concepts used in the Broadcast industry back in the 1990’s which I believed in and taught was “The Magic of 3’s” … I never thought that this concept would come home in such an odd manner. Losing three close relatives unexpectedly in less than three weeks… Relatives that – it would seem – were ‘it wasn’t their time’ events… It brings different emotions to different people. For me, losing my Aunt Mert who would have seemed to be in near perfect health, was a surprise that I’m still processing. She has always been there during the holidays, such a thoughtful person. Her funeral was packed. And it may sound strange, but I hope mine will be packed too. It was packed with people that we didn’t even know. One person after another has been touched by her kindness and love. Shut-ins with no resources found a ride to the service so they could tell their stories of how she had come to their home ‘every day’. The deaf and blind were also there with their own stories of her daily acts to serve them. After teaching first grade for 37 years, she spent this decade volunteering (unpaid) as Church Secretary. Two different school Principals were there to tell us how She taught Them ‘how to BE A PRINCIPAL’ … she loved the children. I will never forget, as a young child, I was extremely shy. She helped bring me out of my shell by her use of Ventriloquism. These losses are difficult and admittedly can be overwhelming. I wanted to thank the kind Virtual Assistants that have tried to help me to get caught up, and I’m thankful every moment for the family that is still with us. With all of that said, my precious Mother has survived chemotherapy with her last treatment completed this month. She is a treasure, and we, her sons are not the only ones that will say so forever. Openly I list my email address: sam@livefearless.com. Please let me know what your experiences with similar situations have been like. I am finishing a film that has been a passion of mine for years because it, as I have interviewed and spoken, has been the key topic. Final Cut (Apple software) students that you know would be a great asset at this time along with the suggestion of your very best virtual assistant. I want to be there for my family and especially my Mother while continuing on the path of this work. Seeing close relatives that were still in their ‘prime’ leave seemingly prematurely, I would appreciate your input.
