Bad news. Suzanne Venker’s new “Man’s Achilles’ heel” has SOLD OUT at the largest Barnes & Noble in Los Angeles (one copy remained at noon). It’s like Kryptonite to men, and women have bought every copy already! The ‘men aren’t necessary’ narrative has made men find bliss in opting out of marriage. Obviously, this book is written for women that still want to marry men. Its insights for women are too risky because good men might be convinced to consider getting married. That’s why Suzanne Venker’s new book is a the Achilles’ heel to men that have chosen to opt out of marriage. Today shows the bad news. Suzanne Venker has written a best selling book for women. It’s selling out at the most popular book stores!
Men are supposed to work, earn more money than his spouse (or suffer her disrespect) and do more around the house regardless of the kind of work he does outside of his household chores. Men are happier with not having to make the marriage commitment. Men opt instead to pay professionals to do the necessary stuff around the house. This obviously avails more time and resources which increases productivity and earnings, so he outsources more of the time-consuming life and business tasks that were taking away time freedom to have quality time with loved ones. Such momentum brings men even more time freedom and earnings, so men focus on being transformational philanthropreneurs with positive, global influence. This frees more time, increases resources, so he has seemingly unlimited quality time to spend with loved ones and of course, that someone special he’s not married to…
It’s obvious… Men do not want women to read Suzanne Venker’s new book.
Men need to call the Huffington Post, Slate, Gawker, The Atlantic and even the hissing morning anchor on Fox News Channel. Men should politely ask the top media influencers to script horrible ‘truths’ about Suzanne Venker and her new book. Perhaps then women will STOP BUYING “How To Choose a Husband, a 12-step guide for women seeking a lasting union in a culture that prepares them for anything but” — Most media sources say that men aren’t necessary. It’s become a joke that women laugh at. Most men in popular media (including commercials) are depicted as useless fools that cannot function in the real world – or jerks – or players.
There was only ONE copy remaining in the three-story Barnes & Noble location at the location developers nationwide studied in hopes of replicating its astounding success. Somebody needs to stop this book from being bought. I admit it, Suzanne Venker interviewed me for that new book, I’ve read it, and she’s a writer with skills superior to the script writers that craft negative spin on her every phrase.
If you care about protecting men’s decision to opt out of marriage, you should make sure that copies of “How to Choose A Husband, a 12….” are hidden from that front shelf, with its glowing red and white cover, at every store. It’s a public service!
From ‘Slate’ … There is a lot of Steve Harvey in Suzanne Venker’s new book, How To Choose a Husband, a 12-step guide for women seeking a lasting union in a culture that prepares them for anything but. The comedian and Family Feud host is quoted as an expert on marital sex after comparing her interview with Sam Botta to words of Steve Harvey. She states “I decided to ask Sam Botta, a celebrity interviewer in Los Angeles, to explain what men want. Sam’s comments… are eerily similar to those of Steve Harvey in Act Like a Lady.
I do love a good dose of truth and controversy! Great post
